INITIATIVES

Evolve – Integrative Center for Applied Psychology & Creative Expression

is a multidisciplinary organization for : Student and Corporate Development, Mental Health & Emotional Wellness, Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling, Entrepreneurship & Leadership Development and Artistic & Creative Expression.

With a wide array and amalgamation of offerings we cater to a populace from 8 years of age to 80. We have worked with schools, colleges, companies, hospitals, NGOs, communities, summits, festivals etc. all across India. At Evolve, we seek to educate, empower and equip our clients with distinctive cognitive, emotional and psycho-social skills that help them achieve success, fulfilment, growth, peace and balance in various dimensions of life.

“An epiphany enables you to sense creation not as something completed, but as constantly becoming, evolving, ascending. This transports you from a place where there is nothing new to a place where there is nothing old, where everything renews itself, where heaven and earth rejoice as at the moment of creation.” -Abraham Isaac Kook

The Epiphany Arts Foundation aims to foster performance arts as a facilitative catalyst in the journey of being, believing and becoming for both – the artiste and the audience, the performer and the patron, the ‘stager’ and the ‘spectator’ through the cohesive power of storytelling and the embodied experience of experimental theatre. It is a laboratory of thought, feeling and reflection on the amorphous, abstract and organic nature of human experience unbridled and untarnished by the rigmarole of the mechanistic mundane.

  • A stimulating conversation at The Times of India NIE Knowledge Meet on a question that is becoming increasingly important for education:

How do we embrace AI without weakening the very human capacities that make learning meaningful?

I had the opportunity to speak on The Future Ready Mind: Balancing AI Innovation with Human Memory in Education — exploring why memory is not simply about storing information, but about building the knowledge, connections and context that allow us to think critically, question intelligently and create meaning.

AI can extend our capabilities. But the future of education cannot be about outsourcing thinking.

The real opportunity lies in finding the balance, using technology to augment the mind while continuing to strengthen memory, curiosity, critical thinking and human judgement.

A thoughtful exchange of perspectives on what it really means to prepare learners for an AI-enabled world.

  • As a former Chemical Engineer, it feels particularly special to be delivering my second TEDx talk at Institute Of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT).

My journey from studying chemical engineering to studying human behaviour and becoming a psychologist has taken me in an unexpected but deeply fulfilling direction.

From chemical reactions to human reactions, from understanding molecules to understanding minds, from studying matter to studying meaning.

The journey took a different turn, but it led me closer to what I was always curious about - understanding what makes us who we are and how things work.
  • A conversation at the intersection of AI, education, memory and the human mind.🧠✨

Looking forward to being part of the Times of India Knowledge Meet and exploring what it really means to build a Future-Ready Mind in an age of AI.

As AI increasingly changes how we learn, access information and solve problems, an important question emerges: Are we strengthening human memory and thinking, or outsourcing them to technology?

The future of education may not be about choosing between AI and human intelligence, but about finding the right balance between the two.
  • Use of Self in Helping Roles

Each cohort brings with it its own energy, questions, stories, and ways of showing up.

This cohort of Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling at @tiss.mumbai brought a wonderful mix of curiosity, warmth, openness, reflection, and a willingness to explore.

We explored how the self enters every helping relationship through our experiences, values, beliefs, emotions, communication patterns, assumptions, triggers, and ways of relating to others.

And then came the more important question. What does a counsellor do with all of this? How do we become more aware of what we bring into the helping space, and how do we work with it thoughtfully and responsibly?

Across the sessions, we explored communication, power and power dynamics, emotions, feelings and moods, self esteem, values, and team dynamics. We looked at how these show up in the way we listen, respond, interpret situations, connect with people, work with others, and offer help.

Through role plays, activities, conversations, reflection, and through art and movement, we sought to move beyond concepts and engage with the subjectivity and complexity of real human interactions. These embodied and creative processes allowed us to notice what is often unspoken, and to experience the self not just cognitively, but physically and emotionally as well.

Perhaps the larger question running through it all was:

How can one understand and use the self with greater awareness when in a helping role?

Grateful for a cohort that was willing not just to learn about the self, but to look inward with curiosity too. 🌱

Three beautiful days of misty mornings, music, movement, art, stories, games, laughter, silence, nature and human connection.

From walking through the rain and reconnecting with nature to playing, creating, expressing and simply slowing down, the retreat became a space to pause from everyday life and return to ourselves.

Use of Self in Helping Roles

Monsoon Memories from our very first retreat in the rain-soaked hills of Chikmagalur with some amazing people. Three beautiful days of misty mornings, music, movement, art, stories, games, laughter, silence, nature and human connection. From walking through the rain and reconnecting with nature to playing, creating, expressing and simply slowing down, the retreat became a space to pause from everyday life and return to ourselves.
